About our Client
Skytap is a Public/Private Cloud that allows enterprise companies to migrate their on-prem legacy applications (such as x86 or AIX) to the cloud. Their products provide a self-service environment for learning, developing, testing, training, and running these enterprise applications in their native format. As of now, they’re currently partnered with IBM and Microsoft Azure to offer these services to enable enterprises to migrate and modernize their core business applications.
The Challenge
As one of the few companies that provides enterprise businesses with a cloud migration service like this, Skytap had thousands of active leads specifically in the Manufacturing sector. This created a bottleneck for Skytap as they had a large number of untapped customers but no one to go out and pursue those leads. As a result, their team needed a sales rockstar to identify the best areas of opportunity & accelerate the sales process for customers with on-premise data center problems.
Skytap partnered with Nxt Level to help find this sales rockstar as they struggled to find a strong, self-starter that would be capable of tracking down these leads. This person also needed to be familiar with the IBM Power ecosystem and Azure Cloud systems. After a short search, Nxt Level was able to place a candidate in this role that would eventually be promoted to the Director level within a single year.
